Help us combat racism in the community

Racism remains one of the most persistent issues we hear about at the Commission and, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve seen a worrying rise in racist abuse and attacks, particularly targeting people from Asian backgrounds.

18 June 2020

To combat this issue, support victims and raise awareness of the impact of racism on the community, we’re asking community organisations, public sector agencies and other supporters for their help.

You can help us spread the message that there’s no place for racism in Victoria by:

Visit our resource centre

On our resource centre, we’ve prepared a stakeholder kit and collected some resources – including sample social media, and website and newsletter content – that you can use to help members of your community understand their rights and how they can make a complaint about racism or other discrimination.
