Ambulance Victoria review – Special announcement (24 March)

There is one week remaining for current and former Ambulance Victoria employees and first responders/volunteers to complete our online survey as part of Independent review into workplace equality in Ambulance Victoria.

24 March 2021

There is now just one week left to complete the Commission’s online survey as part of our Independent review into workplace equality in Ambulance Victoria.

Workplace (in)equality is an issue that can impact an organisation’s entire workforce. It affects women and men who are transitioning to retirement, as well as people who have only just begun their careers with AV or who are seeking to do so. It affects workers with disability or workers who have caring responsibilities. It affects people’s access to flexible working arrangements and reasonable adjustments. It affects attraction, recruitment, promotion and retention of staff. And it affects how respected and safe people feel in the workplace and people’s experiences of discrimination, sexual harassment, victimisation and bullying.

I am grateful to the 1,411 of you who have completed the survey so far.

We want to hear from as many of AV’s current and former employees and first responders/volunteers as possible, so I’d like to encourage you to complete the online survey, if you haven’t already.

There are lots of options to help you do this. You can complete the survey on your laptop, on your tablet or even your mobile phone. If you’d prefer, you can forward the survey link to your personal email account and complete it on a personal device.

If you need any technical assistance completing the survey, please contact ORIMA Research – the company that the Commission has engaged to administer the survey on our behalf – at surveys@orima.com or phone 1800 806 950. You can contact my team at the Commission via our dedicated telephone hotline (1300 395 726) or email address (AVreview@veohrc.vic.gov.au).

With repeated thanks
