Ambulance Victoria review – Special announcement (12 March 2021)

The online survey as part of Independent review into workplace equality in Ambulance Victoria is now open, and we are inviting current and former Ambulance Victoria employees and first responders/volunteers to share their experiences.

12 March 2021

Hello

I am pleased to let you know that as at 3.30pm yesterday, 923 of AV’s current and former employees and first responders/volunteers had already completed the Commission’s online survey as part of our Independent review into workplace equality in Ambulance Victoria.

It is really pleasing to see so many of you participating in the survey. We have received responses from all across the state. We’ve heard from people in corporate and operational roles. And we’ve heard from people who have only recently joined AV, as well as those with long histories with the organisation and those who are now working in other organisations or who have since retired.

Thank you to everyone who has generously given their time to share their views. As I’ve said before, your survey responses are critical to the review and will inform the findings and recommendations arising from the Commission’s independent review.

I encourage anyone who hasn’t yet completed the survey to do so – you have until 31 March to respond. The review provides an important opportunity for you to share your experiences and my team and I are keen to hear from as many people as possible.

If you need any technical assistance completing the online survey, please contact ORIMA Research – the company that the Commission has engaged to administer the survey on our behalf – at surveys@orima.com or phone 1800 806 950. You can contact my team at the Commission via our dedicated telephone hotline (1300 395 726) or email address (AVreview@veohrc.vic.gov.au).

With repeated thanks
