Legal interventions

Our legal interventions into court and tribunal cases provide specialist and independent views on human rights and equal opportunity issues. We intervene in cases that involve the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities, and the Equal Opportunity Act 2010. In this role, the Commission advocates for and explains the laws we work with. We do this to assist the court. We do not represent individual parties.
