This session focuses on reasonable accommodations for parents and carers at work.
Everyone has the right to participate equally at work. For some people, this requires adjustments to perform the requirements of their role.
The session will explore:
- what the law says
- what accommodations employers should provide
- what is considered ‘reasonable’
- practical preventative actions that can be taken to avoid discrimination against parents and carers
- best practice responses to requests for reasonable accommodation.
