Justine Vaisutis

Head of Education and Engagement, Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission

Justine leads the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission’s Education and Engagement team, focused on providing clear, accessible legal information and helping individuals and organisations to understand their rights and responsibilities, via training sessions, consultancy and our Information Line.

Justine has 10 years’ experience in organisational change and is passionate about creating more diverse and equitable workplaces. At Monash University, she managed the Workplace Policy and Performance area, and she has also worked as a consult specialising in workplace investigations and responses to bullying and sexual harassment. Earlier in her career, she worked in people and development roles and spent 10 years as a journalist, writing predominantly about human rights, cultural diversity and travel.

Justine holds a Bachelor of Arts (Development Studies) from the Australian National University and a Master of Human Rights Law from Monash University. She is currently completing a Master of Business Administration (Executive) at RMIT University.
